Custom Mudroom Organizers – Built to Fit Your Entryway

SHELVES FOR ANY SPACE THAT NEEDS  STORAGE

MADE FROM 25-YEAR-OLD WEATHERED RED OAK

"Before Nate installed the shelves, we had hooks falling out of sheetrock and no space to store stuff, especially in the snow season. It's made the mudroom work and it's a wow when you walk in! "

Each custom mudroom organizer is built from weathered red oak that was originally cut and milled in 2000 using a portable band saw. The boards sat stacked and naturally weathered for over two decades, creating dense, seasoned hardwood with character that can’t be replicated with new lumber.

This isn’t stained wood — it’s preserved.

Every piece is carefully selected from the strongest sections of the old boards, then shaped, lightly torched, and finished by hand to highlight the natural grain and strength of the material.

The result is rugged, functional shelving that brings warmth and durability to your entryway while showcasing the story of the wood itself.

HOW EACH ORGANIZER IS MADE

"The red oak was cut and milled more than 25 years ago." - Nate Greene

Boards are measured and cut to the custom dimensions of your project.

The wood is lightly sanded to remove weathered surface fibers and reveal the grain underneath.

THE WOOD TELLS A STORY

The wood sat stacked and protected in a field for more than two decades, so it naturally weathered.

A controlled torch-burning technique is used to expose the stronger grain patterns, creating a rich, natural texture.

A second light sanding blends the harder and softer areas of the wood while preserving the deep character created by the burn.

WHY LINSEED OIL?

Linseed oil protects and seals the wood naturally.

Finally, the piece is finished with natural linseed oil — not stain — allowing the wood to breathe while enhancing durability.

Exactly what you want for a mudroom.

Materials that are tough.
